“The most powerful force that can both preserve a nation and lead to its loss is language.” These words were remembered on the birthday of the teacher of the nation, Akhmet Baitursynov, on September 5 during the celebration of the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan at the RSE “IVC”.

The event, which began solemnly to the sound of the dombra, introduced employees to the history of this holiday. Then, through a quiz, interesting facts about the languages and history of Kazakhstan were presented.

Kazakhstan is a true linguistic mosaic. Since many ethnic groups and nationalities live in the country, the event concluded with a musical competition testing knowledge not only of the state language but also of the official language. At the end of the event, active participants were awarded memorable souvenirs.
