Astana hosted the international forum "Digital Transformation of National Statistical Systems," dedicated to the 105th anniversary of state statistics.
On November 8, 2025, the state statistics agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan celebrated their 105th anniversary – a significant milestone in the history of collecting, analyzing, and disseminating data reflecting the development of society and the economy. The statistical system has evolved from manual counting to modern digital technologies, becoming an integral foundation for management decision-making and the formation of public policy.
In honor of this significant date, Astana hosted the International Forum "Digital Transformation of National Statistical Systems," attended by heads and experts from national statistical offices, representatives of international organizations, research institutions, IT companies, and government agencies.
The forum focused on sharing experiences, discussing digital transformation strategies, implementing innovative solutions, and developing new approaches to the development of official statistics in the face of rapid technological change.
